James Stewart
James Stewart has been a member of the board since 2017. He and his wife moved to Fort Collins in 1984, after graduating from Virginia Tech, and have lived in the boundaries of the district for 30 years. James worked for three decades in the technology industry starting in engineering and progressing to executive management before retiring in 2007. He was Vice President in charge of the semiconductor business for Hewlett Packard, Agilent and Avago Technologies. His background includes managing large organizations including engineering, finance, plant operations, facilities and human resources. These are the areas where he believes he can best contribute to the district as a member of the board.
James is excited to be involved during this important period of growth for the district including a major plant expansion. Also since James and his wife have a small farm, he is very interested in seeing our waste management process acheive quality levels approved for use as fertilizer.
James and his wife Becky have 3 children and 2 grand children who all live close by. They enjoy their family time as well as gardening, traveling, hiking, golf and working out at their health club.
